The room was filled with people I had just met, people I’ve known since the 2000s, and people I’ve known my whole life.
Thank you for your support, for your tears, and for your applause.
I chose to share my story — my most intimate story — in the hope that it might give someone else relief, comfort, or simply the feeling that they are already good enough.
Knowing that it touched some of you fills my heart with so much love.
