I’ve spent years in an industry I love, but I’ve also seen how gender pay disparity continues to hold women back. In Bollywood and far beyond it, women are still paid less —and talent is the not the reason. This Women’s Day, the conversation has to move past celebration. We need fairness, accountability, and systems that truly enable women to rise. That’s why I’m proud to share the message of #HappyWomensPay — a campaign by @GeneraliCentralInsurance, who have already closed their internal gender pay gap and taken a clear stand as an equal-pay organisation.
