On Friday March 6th I had my third baby , a little boy. He was a bit early and ended up in NICU For 3 days with some breathing problems. The midwives and team (Obgyn etc) around me were incredible particularly @missclairemellonandassociates @pat_themidwife @thisisyourbaby365 . Today we got home! As usual its not easy , im engorged already , day three intrusive thoughts, in love with my partner and my kids more than ever. Just taking it all slow. C sections ARE PAINFUL! He’s perfect and wonderful . Breastfeeding is hard !

My day to day manager @radhikarose and I happened to get pregnant at the same time …. Now we are both boss bitching it and howling with vulnerability and emotions at the same time. I’m proud of us both. Between us my career happens and now it’s time for us both to have babies! What a thrill and what joy to be able to do both in spite of working in an industry where you are made to feel washed up once you’ve had kids. Not the case here ! This international women’s day I am thinking of the women on the global stage who can’t have careers, who are silenced, made small or trapped by patriarchal systems. well I became a mother for the third time a week ago. Wow what a privilege. On this Mother’s Day I want to say thank you to the ivf gods, to the powers that be, to the men who played their part and to the children who made me the person I am. It’s been the greatest privilege of my life to be a mother and to love and nurture my children: to make mistakes , to apologise to them , to demonstrate my own fragility, to be strong, to love and to learn with them. The humanitarian situation in Gaza is catastrophic. Israel’s blockade on lifesaving aid means millions of people in Gaza are trapped without food, water or medicine. They are running out of time. As part of the ceasefire agreement, Israel promised 600 humanitarian trucks daily. Instead just 89 trucks a day have been let in. The Israeli government continue to use critical aid as a bargaining chip. This is unacceptable. Food and water is a human right. Israel has violated the ceasefire agreement 80 times, with almost 100 people killed in the attacks.⁠ Stop the violence. Stop the genocide. Open the border crossings. Let ALL aid in.

Irish band @thestunningband are enjoying a new success with their music being used in the new @netflix series @houseofguinnessnetflix . For decades now the band have been huge advocates for Palestine and in recent weeks have made an incredible song called Stand Up In This Wicked World and video to amplify the need for true liberation for the Palestinian people. Now with Gaza under another bombardment in the middle of a ‘ceasefire’ the need for amplification is more important than ever. Please share the song and video.
