I’ve been sitting with this character for almost a year now, and honestly? She’s made me think about things I didn’t want to face.
How many times have we changed ourselves for someone else’s approval?
How many times have we felt like we’re not enough! no matter how hard we try?
How many times have we looked in the mirror and only seen what’s “wrong”?
Naina’s story is my story. Maybe it’s yours too.
I don’t have all the answers. I’m still figuring it out myself. But I do know this; we deserve better than constantly seeking validation from people who’ll never give it. We deserve to know our own worth.
