You will most certainly recognize today’s pet parent, @miayimofficial and her 10-year-old English Bulldog @stannistheprince! 🐶 Entrance Theme – When Michin went through a tough breakup, she found herself feeling very alone. That was when she came across irresistable baby Stannis, and adopted him immediately on impulse. 🥰 🐶 Signature Moves – When Michin moved in with @qosbaszler, their puppies of course needed an introduction to each other. Shayna’s dog, @isyspuppy, is a pitbull mix, and is normally not a fan of other dogs. However, Stannis was quite happy to allow Isys to assume her alpha role, and they were a perfect fit! “At the first meeting, Puppy would bark and try to charge at Stannis but he stayed seated next to my legs,” Michin tells us. “Once Puppy got used to his presence and calmed down, we went inside the house. Stannis sniffed inside her cage and Puppy would chase him, while he would run behind me. Finally when she was used to him they would wrestle, and Shayna, @jessamynduke (also known as his meemaw!) and myself would watch them for hours. They will always be brother and sister even when we aren’t living together anymore.” 🐶 The Finish – As they’ve bonded and grown up together over the last 10 years, Stannis has remained a pillar of emotional support in Michin’s life. “Stannis has helped me through a lot. Several breakups, financial hardships, moving, and the passing of our elderly bulldog, Jolene (RIP 💛). He just knows me and my moods.
