This was something we had been planning for almost a year a moment to reconnect, away from all the noise. It gave us an instant connection and a deeper bond than ever before.
It took a lot of effort to convince him for a continuous staycation 😅 But honestly, it was worth every bit. Yes, we smile, laugh, and share love every day but the more he shows affection, the more I crave it. I wanted 48 hours of uninterrupted togetherness, and this was my way of filling that emotional space.
If your partner is too busy or hesitant to take the first step, don’t let ego come between you. Plan it yourself. Take the initiative. They’ll feel your effort, and the next time it’ll be easier.
