Deafness is part of everyday life here in the UK. Around 12 million people in the UK are deaf, have hearing loss or tinnitus which makes it the third most common disability in the country. Over 2 million people use hearing aids and thousands of people also use cochlear implants to access sound in a different way.
Deaf children get to see themselves on screen and hearing children grow up understanding that hearing and communication can look different for everyone – seeing representation like this for the next generation feels really special. 🤍
