Vivienne Westwood Instagram – Multi-award winning British artist and songwriter, @samsmith wears custom Vivienne Westwood to mark the beginning of their ‘To Be Free: New York City’ residency at Brooklyn’s historic Warsaw club.
Sam wears a Vivienne Westwood shirt and matching trousers in a custom orange and chocolate brown wool crepe check. A custom shearling jacket in dark brown leather is accessorised with a Pirate Hat in dark brown melange hemp wool with black cockade and tassels, created by Prudence Millinery.
The celebration of Sam’s new chapter includes a limited-edition t-shirt – available for purchase at Sam’s shows – featuring hand-drawn artwork by Andreas Kronthaler. Selected by Sam, the image of a butterfly symbolises freedom, transformation, rebirth, a new beginning.
Proceeds from t-shirt sales will go towards Sam’s charitable foundation @thepinkhouse which serves as a source of support for the LGBTQIA community.
