Amanda Tori Meating Instagram - Been feeling so pretty lately it blows my mind 🥹 I made a friend at the start of summer who said, “in transition, the mask gets too heavy to carry after a certain point” and that shit hasn’t left my brain since. It may not seem like much, but the bone structure of my face before FFS had truly come to feel like a mask, and I was exhausted from wearing it around for so long. Tomorrow I’ll be 3 months post op, and I definitely can’t say I wouldn’t change anything about my face. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel that way just because of the world we live in and the way beauty standards work. But what I CAN say is that I feel so much lighter than I did 3 months ago. I can say that where I used to fixate on certain parts of my face that made me feel masculine and how much I hated it, I now have the brain capacity to treat myself with much more love and kindness when I look in the mirror. I have the capacity to walk out into the world and show up as the girl who gives herself that love and kindness regularly. I have the capacity to show up for my friends and my community because I’m not wasting time and energy hating myself. It’s less about reaching a destination, and so much more about making myself feel equipped to move through life in the most authentic way possible. Thank you @doll.invasion for creating one of the most magical transsexual spaces I’ve ever been blessed to enter. Eff Aye Gee Island is a place that I’ve truly fallen in love with in the last year, but it’s also complicated. My first trip to the island was last summer, and the experience of being a trans person (especially so early in my transition) in a sea of wealthy muscle gays is….. not for the faint of heart. Eventually I found my people in the witchy corners and on the rooftops staring at the skies, but to have these massive spaces FLOODED with so many of us was truly such a beautiful, brain chemistry altering experience. The world is so ugly right now but we are so lucky to be able to come together and celebrate each other in these spaces. I feel very blessed 🥹💖 Also to FINALLY get out of the house after surgery was so lovely. I still have a liiiiiiittle more swelling to go down before y’all can see on main, but overall I’m feeling FAB! Thank you @doll.invasion for creating one of the most magical transsexual spaces I’ve ever been blessed to enter. Eff Aye Gee Island is a place that I’ve truly fallen in love with in the last year, but it’s also complicated. My first trip to the island was last summer, and the experience of being a trans person (especially so early in my transition) in a sea of wealthy muscle gays is….. not for the faint of heart. Eventually I found my people in the witchy corners and on the rooftops staring at the skies, but to have these massive spaces FLOODED with so many of us was truly such a beautiful, brain chemistry altering experience. The world is so ugly right now but we are so lucky to be able to come together and celebrate each other in these spaces. I feel very blessed 🥹💖 Also to FINALLY get out of the house after surgery was so lovely. I still have a liiiiiiittle more swelling to go down before y’all can see on main, but overall I’m feeling FAB! It may not seem like much, but the bone structure of my face before FFS had truly come to feel like a mask, and I was exhausted from wearing it around for so long. Tomorrow I’ll be 3 months post op, and I definitely can’t say I wouldn’t change anything about my face. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel that way just because of the world we live in and the way beauty standards work. But what I CAN say is that I feel so much lighter than I did 3 months ago. I can say that where I used to fixate on certain parts of my face that made me feel masculine and how much I hated it, I now have the brain capacity to treat myself with much more love and kindness when I look in the mirror. I have the capacity to walk out into the world and show up as the girl who gives herself that love and kindness regularly. I have the capacity to show up for my friends and my community because I’m not wasting time and energy hating myself. It’s less about reaching a destination, and so much more about making myself feel equipped to move through life in the most authentic way possible. I can say that where I used to fixate on certain parts of my face that made me feel masculine and how much I hated it, I now have the brain capacity to treat myself with much more love and kindness when I look in the mirror. I have the capacity to walk out into the world and show up as the girl who gives herself that love and kindness regularly. I have the capacity to show up for my friends and my community because I’m not wasting time and energy hating myself. It’s less about reaching a destination, and so much more about making myself feel equipped to move through life in the most authentic way possible. Caption : Been feeling so pretty lately it blows my mind 🥹 I made a friend at the start of summer who said, “in transition, the mask gets too heavy to carry after a certain point” and that shit hasn’t left my brain since. It may not seem like much, but the bone structure of my face before FFS had truly come to feel like a mask, and I was exhausted from wearing it around for so long. Tomorrow I’ll be 3 months post op, and I definitely can’t say I wouldn’t change anything about my face. I don’t know if I’ll ever feel that way just because of the world we live in and the way beauty standards work. But what I CAN say is that I feel so much lighter than I did 3 months ago. Thank you @doll.invasion for creating one of the most magical transsexual spaces I’ve ever been blessed to enter. Eff Aye Gee Island is a place that I’ve truly fallen in love with in the last year, but it’s also complicated. My first trip to the island was last summer, and the experience of being a trans person (especially so early in my transition) in a sea of wealthy muscle gays is….. not for the faint of heart. Eventually I found my people in the witchy corners and on the rooftops staring at the skies, but to have these massive spaces FLOODED with so many of us was truly such a beautiful, brain chemistry altering experience. The world is so ugly right now but we are so lucky to be able to come together and celebrate each other in these spaces. I feel very blessed 🥹💖 Also to FINALLY get out of the house after surgery was so lovely. I still have a liiiiiiittle more swelling to go down before y’all can see on main, but overall I’m feeling FAB! Caption : DOLL INVASION 2025 🔥🏝️ This was perhaps one of the most perfect weekends of the summer, maybe the year? Thank you @doll.invasion for creating one of the most magical transsexual spaces I’ve ever been blessed to enter. Eff Aye Gee Island is a place that I’ve truly fallen in love with in the last year, but it’s also complicated. My first trip to the island was last summer, and the experience of being a trans person (especially so early in my transition) in a sea of wealthy muscle gays is….. not for the faint of heart. Eventually I found my people in the witchy corners and on the rooftops staring at the skies, but to have these massive spaces FLOODED with so many of us was truly such a beautiful, brain chemistry altering experience. The world is so ugly right now but we are so lucky to be able to come together and celebrate each other in these spaces. I feel very blessed 🥹💖 Also to FINALLY get out of the house after surgery was so lovely. I still have a liiiiiiittle more swelling to go down before y’all can see on main, but overall I’m feeling FAB!
