More about the Fourth Annual Breast Cancer Survivors Conference from my friend and Cancer activist #DeviekaBhojwani:

My NGO Womens Cancer Initiative – Tata Memorial Hospital, along with Nag Foundation organised the 4 Breast Cancer Survivors Conference in Mumbai on 19th- 20th October 2015. The beautiful and courageous Lisa Ray a cancer survivor herself, along with Dr Anil Dcruz, Director, Tata Memorial Hospital, inaugurated the conference, and the gorgeous Malaika Arora Khan lent her support to the cause.
The theme of the conference was CONNECT, CELEBRATE, CONQUER..and was a platform for survivors and health care professionals to come together to share and learn.The aim was to energize, educate and enable survivors, in women specific health issues.
250 Breast Cancer Survivors, from Mumbai, Pune, Nashik, Kolhapur, Bangalore and Goa attended in an atmosphere of great bonding and shared experiences. 
The sessions, addressed issues such as, rehabilitation and physical recovery after Breast Cancer, fear of relapse, which were conducted by Doctors from Tata Memorial Hospital Mumbai, along with other well known Oncologist from around India.
What a rewarding experience!!
