Remo, the movie which had Sivakarthikeyan and Keerthy Suresh in the lead directed by debutante Bakkiaraj Kannan, took Kollywood by storm at the time of its release, thanks to the sky high promotion by the Banner 24 AM Studios under which it is released. The film did receive mixed reviews, Â but that did not alter the box office collection of the movie in any way. The movie has been marching steadily ever since its release at the box office. The movie has collected 65 Crores so far through its world wide release, which is very big indeed for a Sivakarthikeyan movie.
Analysts have speculated that the movie has crossed the lifetime collection of RajiniMurugan the actors previous release which was his biggest blockbuster so far. Since no other big movies are scheduled for release this week as well, Remo is expected to march ahead with nothing to hinder its success march at the box office and is very much expected to touch 75 Crore mark.
