Asia Vision awards conducted by Asia Vision channel is being held annually since 2006 to honour the artistes of film industry. Awards for the year 2016 had been announced recently and the function is to be held on 18th of November in a grand function at Sharjah.

Radhika Apter receives ” Outstanding performance award” for Kabali and Parched.
Dharmadurai is the biggest grosser for awards this year with 5 awards for the movie including, Best actor in Tamil, Best Actress in Tamil, Best Director, Best Cinematographer and Best movie in Tamil.
Theri bags two awards with Nainika getting the “Best Child Artist Award” and “Excellence in Performance Award” for Amy Jackson.
Sid Sreeram bagged Best Singer award for two songs, ” Ennodu Nee Irundhaal” and “Thalli Pogathey”
