Merku Thodarchi Malai produced by Vijay Sethupathi is directed by debutante director Lenin Bharathi. Lenin has earlier worked with Suseenthiran in his film Aadhalaal Kaadhal Seiveer. The movie Merku Thodarchi Malai has music done by Ilaiyaraja and the camera works are done by Theni Eshwar. The movie is filled with debutante actors.
Being the second production venture of Vijay Sethupathi the movie has garnered him two accolades already.The movie was selected for screening in International Film Festival of Kerala earlier this year. It was one among the 18 films selected for the 21st version of the film festival. And recently it was also selected for Bioscope International Film Festival of Punjab.
The cinematographer Theni Eshwar was awarded the best Cinematographer award at the closing ceremony of Bioscope International Film Festival which took place at Lovely Professional University yesterday (12-Nov-2016).
