Superstar Rajinikanth recently watched the Diwali superhit Kodi, which had Dhanush playing a dual role for the first time opposite Trisha. Superstar was mightily impressed with Kodi and went on appreciating Dhanush to have chosen the script in the first place.
Sources close to the actor says that Rajinikanth also appreciated the work of the director and suggested the Kodi actor to do another movie with the same director if possible. Impressed Dhanush took his words literally and decided to collaborate again with Durai Senthilkumar, the Kodi director. Durai who was simply surprised with the appreciation from the superstar started to work on his second script, which will have Dhanush playing a gangster.
It is to be noted that Dhanush is already busy completing his schedules for ENPT with gautham and Vada Chennai with Vetrimaaran. Vada Chennai which is said to be a trilogy will also have Dhanush as a gangster based in Madras.
It is said that Durai Senthilkumar’s next with Dhanush might be funded by Dhanush’s own production house Wunderbar Studios.
