Vishnu Vishal who is currently having atleast three projects at various stages of production in his kitty has finalised a name for one of his unnamed thriller movies. Minmini is the title of the film that the crew has finalised on.
After finalising the name, it is learnt that the team is speeding up the production and is expected to release a teaser soon. Minmini has Amala Paul playing the female lead and the music for the venture is by Ghibran.
Touted to be an investigative thriller the movie is being directed by Ram of Mundasupatti fame. Ram rose to fame with his short film which was then made as a full length feature film. Mundasupatti had Vishnu Vishal as the lead with Nandita playing the female lead.
Vishnu Vishal had established his production house last year and produced Velainu Vandhuta Vellaikaaran as his debut production venture. Following the success of the debut venture, Vishnu Vishal went onto produce a couple of other films in which he is acting.
Kadhanayagan and Silukuvarpati Singam are the two other films for Vishnu Vishal which are nearing completion.
Silukuvarpatti Singam is a full length comedy movie directed by debutant Chella which has Regina Cassendra in the lead role. Produced Vishnu Vishal’s home productions, Sources say that Oviya has been roped in to play an extended cameo in the movie.
Kathanayagan is also a comedy movie where Vishnu is playing the lead alongside Catherine Teresa. Kathanayagan is produced Vishnu himself under his own banner and is distributed by Fox Star Studios. Kathanayagan is getting ready for release on June 23.
