Dulquer Salmaan who debuted with Vaayai Moodi Pesavum in Tamil rose to fame with the super hit O Kadhal Kanmani directed by Mani Ratnam. Even before debuting in Tamil Dulquer had established himself as a star in the Malayalam Film Industry. He was recently spotted taking a local train to the shooting spot in the city of Mumbai.
His director Bejoy Nambiar who was travelling along with him took a picture of themselves and shared it on his social media page. The director’s caption read, “Bumped into this guy in the Virar local yesterday”. Talking about his experience travelling in a local train, the star was noted saying that it was his director who suggested the idea of taking the train to their shooting spot.
The director actor duo has joined hands for the first time for the movie “Solo”. Solo is a bilingual movie and is being made in Tamil and Malayalam simultaneously. The Kerala born director Bejoy Nambiar is debuting with this movie in Malayalam industry. Bejoy Nambiar is known in Tamil for his movie David which had Vikram and Jiiva playing the lead. He has also made a few films in Hindi before foraying with Solo.
Apart from Dulquer Solo has got a long list of the cast which includes Dhanshika, Arthi Venkatesh, Sruthi Hariharan, Ann Augustine, Prakash Belawadi, Anson Paul, Manoj K Jayan, Sheelu Abraham, Sai Tamhankar, Soubin Shahir, R Parthiepan, John Vijay, Govind Menon and Siddharth Menon. The movie was earlier targeted for a June release, but the director posted later that the makers have not yet finalized on the release date.
