Despite joining the prestigious 100 Crore club at the first day run and 300 Crore club in its first weekend, the majestic franchise Baahubali have created new clubs at the box office and becomes the first movie to create many records. Now as a feather to the already decorated crown, the movie has fetched around 1500 Crores so fat in its 21 days run at the global box office.
Baahubali 2: the conclusion is the sequel to the 2015 super hit Baahubali and is a periodical fictional drama that revolves around the fictional Mahishmathi kingdom. Helmed by director S.S.Rajamouli the movie had Prabhas playing the titular character while Rana played the antagonist. Anushka and Tamannah played the lead female characters while Ramya Krishnan, Sathyaraj and Naaser played important supporting roles.
The movie which got simultaneously made in Tamil and Telugu got released in Malayalam, Hindi and Kannada languages as well. The visual extravaganza became the talk of the town after the movie minted 100 Crores in its very first day of run at the box office. The movie had collected 1227 Crores so far from all the versions in the Indian market and the gross collection was around 275 Crores from the Overseas market.
Despite the release of the other films in all the markets, Baahubali has managed to move steadfast undisturbed in its growth at the box office. With the collection counting 1500 Crores and more, the analysts are now on a debate if the movie will touch the 2000 Crore mark. While the movie has not yet been released in China the makers are still not sure if the movie will do its magic at the Chinese box office too. It is to be noted that Aamir Khan starrer Dangal got released in China recently and the movie grossed around 100 Crore in China market alone, thereby adding the movie to the prestigious 1000 Crore club after Baahubali.
