After finishing the game of making the heads turn with his debut venture Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru, 21 year old Karthick Naren was working on the preproduction works of Naragasooran, his next. He said that Naragasooran will also fall in the lines of Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru and will form the second part of the thriller trilogy he is planning to make.
It was earlier reported that Gautham Menon would be producing this venture and the director was on talks with Arvind Swamy and Naga Chaitanya to play one of the lead role. He said that he would be roping in three main heroes from three languages Tamil, Telugu and Malayalam to make this movie.
As a part of the project Naga Chaitanya and Shriya Saran were signed for the projects. Unfortunately due to clash of dates with already signed projects Naga Chaitanya has decided to walk out of the project.
With the reports from sources close to the director, it seems that Indrajith Sukumaran from Malayalam industry and Shriya Saran have been confirmed so far for the project. It is said that Shriya Saran’s character will have negative shades unlike the characters she has played so far in the industry.
Karthik Naren would be co-producing the movie along with director Gautham. If the pre production works gets over the way it was planned, the team would be going on floors by the end of July or from the beginning of August.
Just like his debut venture, the 22 year old director confirmed that the movie will have mix of mystery and thriller elements while the core plot will revolve around Karma and its implications.
