First look poster of Samuthirakani’s upcoming Aan Dhevathai directed by Thamira got released today. Thamira had earlier directed RettaiSuzhi that had two veteran directors K.Balachander and BharathiRaja starring in the lead roles. Director Thamira has also turned a producer with this movie.
Having completed the production for the movie the team is currently in its post-production phase. While they haven’t revealed anything about their release plans, the movie is supposed to deal with a nuclear family based in Chennai. The movie will also talk about the ill effects of the loan on a middle class family.
Starring Samuthirakani as the lead male protagonist, the movie has Ramya Pandian of Joker fame playing the female lead. The movie also has Suja Varunee of Kidaari fame playing an important role, while Abhishek of Papanasam fame is playing the antagonist in the movie.
“I play the head of an IT company in the movie and the heroine gets to work in my company. As a villain, I will have all the traits that you might expect, while my character will also have some positive shades that are what makes the role different.” Says Abhishek. Music director Ghibran has composed music for the film while Vijay Milton has cranked the camera.
Director Thamira has turned as a producer with this film. Remembering her mentor K.Balachandar he has named her banner as Sigaram Productions under he which is producing Aan Dhevadhai.
Samuthirakani’s directorial Thondan has also released today and has opened to average reviews from the critics. Thondan had Sunaina, Vikranth, Arthana and Vela Ramamoorthy playing important roles along with Samuthirakani.
