Lisa Ray Instagram – Naturally, life unfolds in a manner which is both thrilling an unpredictable. I’m learning to avoid colouring every experience with judgement – good and bad are not always useful qualifications. A week ago, on one of the last few days of filming for a feature, I rushed to #BreachCandyHospital in the middle of the night with a searing pain in my tummy. I was soon diagnosed with acute appendicitis then rushed into surgery to remove a small, worm like organ which is considered useless yet dangerous when infected and close to bursting. Again, by surrendering to what is, I glided through the experience with the support of my doctors, friends, the production I’m working on and hubby who flew in from Hong Kong. Yet another message from the universe to keep riding the waves of life with humour and acceptance of any passing turbulent weather.
