The makers of Kaala who are currently awaiting the erection of a grand set in Chennai after the completion of their first schedule are planning to get back to Mumbai again for the second leg of shooting. Kaala which has Rajinikanth playing the titular role also has Huma Qureshi, Anjali Patil, Nana Patekar and Samuthirakani in important roles. Directed by Pa. Sources close to the crew have revealed that Nana Patekar would be playing a ruthless politician in the film. The makers believe the faceoff between Rajinikanth and Nana Patekar would be the highlight of the movie. While nothing regarding the Nana Patekar’s look has been revealed yet, it is believed that Rajinikanth’s Kaala character would be fighting for the rights of the Tamil people based in Mumbai with the party members of Nana Patekar.
Huma Qureshi who was said to play the romantic interest of Rajinikanth in the movie revealed on her social media page that she is playing Zareena. She said she was getting in the shoes of the character Zareena for the movie Kaala and she also shared a picture of her script book for the movie. You could decipher her scenes with Kaala from the picture she has shared.
The makers earlier revealed that Samuthirakani will be playing an important role in the movie. It was evident from the few pics that was released from the sets that Samuthirakani will be playing a close aid to Kaala in the movie. The pictures revealed the actor sporting a different look from the movie.
