Karthick Naren who rose to fame with his ‘Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru’ is all busy with pre-production works for his next titled ‘Naragasooran’. Naragasooran is said to be funded by Gautham Menon under his Ondraga Productions while Karthick Naren himself will be co-producing the film under his Knight Nostalgia Entertainment banner.
Karthick Naren’s Dhuruvangal Pathinaaru was released by the end of December 2016. The movie that had a limited release initially later catapulted to a large number of screens with pure word of mouth promotions. The movie that had limited promotions was appreciated both by critics and was well received by audience. Rahman played protagonist in the movie.
Karthick Naren later announced that his next titled Naragasooran will fall in the lines of his previous film, a crime thriller. Â Gautham who was interested with the work of Karthick wanted to be part of his next film and agreed to produce the same. Naragasooran is touted to be based on a story that will revolve around four or five main characters.
Karthick has managed to rope in actor Arvind Swamy to play the lead while Indrajith from Malayalam industry has been signed for an important role. Naga Chaitanya from Telugu industry was signed for another important role but later walked out stating date issues. Sundeep Kishan of Maanagaram fame is said to replace Naga Chaitanya’s role in the movie. Actress Shriya Saran is said to play an important role too.
The makers have now announced that the first look of the movie will be releasing on 16th of June. The team has planned to start production from the month of August and has planned to wrap the entire schedule with in the month of September.
