Vishal has started shooting for his debut Malayalam movie Villain opposite Mohan Lal. Touted to be a thriller Mohanlal announced during the launch of the project that Vishal will be playing a crucial role in the movie. However Vishal’s portions were planned for the final schedule. Apart from Vishal, actress Hansika is also debuting in Malayalam industry with the same film. Hansika is said to play the romantic interest of Vishal.
Directed by B.Unnikrishnan Villain will be produced by Rockline Venkatesh under his Rockline Productions. Telugu actor Shrikanth and Raashi Kanna will also be seen in important roles in the movie. The director shared the pictures of Vishal and Hansika from the shoot and is doing rounds in Social media.
Manju Warrier is said to play the wife of Mohanlal in the flick where Mohanlal plays a retired cop. The movie will be about a series of murders and the story progresses with Mohanlal’s character unveiling the mystery. Teaser for the movie which was released recently had garnered around 3 million views in a record time of 22 hours.
After Villain, Mohanlal has Velipadinte Pushthakam with director Lal Jose, and Lucifer under Prithvi Raj’s direction. He also has a 3D film Odiyan in his kitty with director Shrikumar. After these commitments Mohanlal is expected to join the sets of the 1000 Crore movie Mahabharatham that is based on the book Randamoozham by M.T.Vasudevan Nair.
