We need to love the things we already have, as well as the planet. In fact we need to practise a ‘deeper materialism’ as @michaelstoneteaching elaborated beautifully in his TEDTalk; we need to love our bodies, things and the world around us with such devotion and attention that we don’t perceive them as flawed or disposable. It’s an antidote to buying into a culture which really only wants you to buy. ‘To be calm is a revolutionary act’ It’s time to practise radical clarity and love our humanness. You are perfect. Your uniqueness is your strength and your gift. Tune out the world to tune in to real beauty and truth. I’m frustrated and sad when I see young girls in particular, hypnotised by blatant marketing and the untruths society spreads. Don’t let the world steal your life. But I’m also a hope addict. Awareness is spreading faster than before. Live your truth or die a lie. It’s that simple.
