I smile knowing that I won’t be asking myself the question, “what if?”, after years of life have passed by. I’m alive with the kind of hunger that’ll never be satiated…Even after the milestones I’ve set for myself thus far, it’s never enough. Amongst the trees and mountains is where I feel whole. One of my fondest memories I had in British Columbia was when an unusual amount of snow gently laid itself upon treetops and the ground I stood on. The green eventually faded into white, ultimately putting the park to a close. See you on Thursday, Vancouver🌲

I enjoy a healthy amount of alone time when I go off on these road trips. Your mind gets to breathe and be present in the moment. However, this stretch of highway in Canada has to be the loneliest I felt on that particular trip. Granted it was my final destination before I had to turn back, so that void of human connection was needing a fill in. But I was completely alone on what felt like a desolate frozen planet. Which also happens be incredibly beautiful as well…I pulled over for about 4 hours to eat salami sandwiches, take photos, and just think. Not ONE car passed by. As if Canada was like, “Yeah, you probably shouldn’t drive on this road during the winter ey.” #BlackIceAintNoJoke •
Cool winter winds swiftly dance their way through the branches and leaves of sequoias. Yosemite Falls reverberating in the ground and valley below. All while I watch Half Dome kiss the sun goodbye one last time before she lays to rest. What a wonderful show it is.
