Tommy Martinez Instagram – I enjoy a healthy amount of alone time when I go off on these road trips. Your mind gets to breathe and be present in the moment. However, this stretch of highway in Canada has to be the loneliest I felt on that particular trip. Granted it was my final destination before I had to turn back, so that void of human connection was needing a fill in. But I was completely alone on what felt like a desolate frozen planet. Which also happens be incredibly beautiful as well…I pulled over for about 4 hours to eat salami sandwiches, take photos, and just think. Not ONE car passed by.
