Getting married was a veer into the surreal for myself. I was resistant and down right disdainful of marriage for many years. I perceived it as a silly convention and an institutionalized limit on my personal freedom. What a misconception on my part. Or maybe I found the partner who gave me wings instead of the cliched ball and chain 😆 I do feel a sense of sadness reflecting on the recent natural disaster in #NapaValley which was the backdrop for both our engagement and getting officially hitched.
