Yukata is traditionally worn during the summer months for festivals & special occasions & is considered the most casual form of traditional dress in Japan. Remember folks! Cultural appreciation & appropriation are very different things! Make sure before you attempt to wear any cultures traditional garb that you do your research & be sure it’s acceptable for you to do so!
