Dayton recently graduated from High School! He graduated with Honors and an Advanced diploma. We are so proud of him. It has been such cool adventure watching him get to this place. My sweet girl Breanna just turned 14. She was my baby for several years and was such a momma’s girl. She has the voice of an angel, has natural talent on the piano, and is super smart. She is shy, quiet and kind until someone she loves is getting picked on then she is so fierce. She is amazing listener and writer. Her writing draws me in and transports to me to another world. There is something so amazing and surreal about sketching a piece, holding it in your hand and then wearing it and falling in love with it. I designed this key with dragonfly perched on it awhile ago and it was so amazing seeing it finally come to fruition. Today I am wearing the one that has the dragonfly in sterling silver instead of rose gold. It is so pretty! The purple enamel on it’s wings is just enough color to give a little more dimension. I can’t believe my Aurora is 16! Sweet 16 at that! Her and Breanna’s birthdays are 3 days apart. When Breanna was born Aurora thought Breanna was her birthday present. I still remember the delighted look on her 2 yr old face. Aurora was the most challenging baby, toddler and child. She was so curious and busy! I was delighted to find out that meant that as a teen she is a over achiever smarty pants in school with tons of energy and initiative. She can master anything she puts her mind to. Watching her play/dance with her Bass makes my heart swell with pride. She has taught herself how to play several instruments and she is an amazing baker. She is someone I wish I had had as a friend when I was a girl. She radiates sunshine and is quite the optimist. I am just blessed. #ilovebeingamommy #awonderful2018

I am frustrated today! I am dealing with someone in Dayton’s life who should understand Autism but obviously doesn’t and is making his life hard. I just want to yell! I am the mother of a child who has Asperger Syndrome and I will never stop advocating for him! It is a good day to remind people to educate themselves about Autism and Asperger Syndrome. These people are everywhere! They are desperately trying to learn how to live in a world that isn’t built for them. They are people. There is more to them than meets the eye. They are most likely the reason we have a lot of the advancements we have in science, art and mathematics and they are amazing! They don’t fit in the little box that the world thinks they need to fit in and we all need to stop judging them by this stupid box. Breakfast today! Healthy green sludge! Actually it tastes pretty great. Haha! For the last 8 weeks I have cut sugar (omg it is in everything!) wheat, potatoes and almost anything processed from my diet. I eat lots of fruit, veggies, legumes, nuts and lean protein. I make sure I am eating small meals or snacks every 2-3 hrs. I have added as many workout days as I can (hard to always do when you are a working mother). I still have baby weight on me from when Ari was born and I struggle with Diastasis Recti. I wanted to fit in a certain dress for Aspyn’s wedding and get healthy again! I have been needing to make some healthy changes in my life for good. I have started sleeping so much better and I have a lot more energy and focus. It feels great! Yes I have lost weight but I know being healthy isn’t about a number on the scale or a size. It is about how you feel!! #ahealthy2018 #awonderul2018 #workingmomlife #forme

This girl tried out for a solo in her choir class at school! Breanna deals with paralyzing stage fright. Her voice is amazing but she struggles to stand up in front of others to share it. I started doing YouTube karaoke with my kids just to help her get over it (also so I could hear her sing 😍). I have been challenging her to get past her fears and try out and she did today! Every time I hear her voice I am absolutely moved. You can see her soul when she sings. I am so proud of her! (Oh!
