Home Actress Lisa Ray Instagram Photos and Posts – December 2018 Lisa Ray Instagram - Where do I start? Bringing my daughters, Sufi and Soleil Ray-Dehni (the hyphen is already proving problematic on official forms which makes me love it even more) to Mumbai, the city that lured me, seduced me, broke me, grown me and healed me is proving even more than an act of reclaiming this psychic space for my girls and myself. Sometimes- at the risk of sounding dramatic- I feel myself reborn through my babies. It’s so strange to believe myself a mother, and yet so natural. I feel more embodied feminine, more warrior, more relaxed and more vulnerable all at once around them. Sometimes I see my Ma in Soleil’s smile, or in Sufi’s penetrating, unblinking blue stare (we call her FBI) I ache for my mom then, and the simple rituals of ancestral motherhood, passed down from mother to daughter. But through some manner of divine intervention, this quality of nurturing, of love and unconditional support manifests through the incredible tribe of women who surround me. My @preetasukhtankar manages to raise me up and carry me when I need it most- and here’s the coolest bit- without me having to say a single word. She just knows. She’s taught me so much about female friendship. Today @preetasukhtankar organised a tea party to celebrate Soufflé and introduce them to my empress tribe of women. @olivemumbai was transformed by a jumble of babies, tiny girls, bigger girls, girls teetering on womanhood, women perched on the lip of knowing enough about themselves to freely call forth their inner child out to play. So much thanks and gratitude my heart is drowning. I’ll post more, but with a cuteness disclaimer...don’t hold me responsible for any syrupy reactions. #girltribe #Souffle

Lisa Ray Instagram – Another women who carries me with the strength of unconditional love born of the biggest heart is @dipikablacklist. I’m simply so grateful for the grace of our decades long friendship. @dipikablacklist knows no boundaries when it comes to friends and I know I thrive in the warmth of her love. Thanks for the @happypeoplestudio customised banners. Otherwise, how would we tell them apart? Oh wait, yeah; they may both have manga sized eyes and buzzed hair, but Sufi and Soleil are completely, utterly unique in themselves. And really they don’t look the same.
Soleil agrees *ironic grin*
