Andy Puddicombe Instagram – Back with our friends at CBS News this morning, where I was joined by our Chief Science Officer and clinical psychologist, Dr Megan Jones-Bell, to announce the launch of Headspace Health.
Headspace Health is developing the world’s first prescription meditation app, as an FDA-cleared treatment for chronic disease. This means that in the future, all being well, your doctor could prescribe Headspace as a digital medicine for a specific illness, covered by your health insurance.
Still lots of work to do, but with multiple papers already published and over 60 research studies in progress around the world, the Headspace science team are making it happen. Thanks for all the hard work team – you guys are awesome!
