Ashish Vidyarthi Instagram – My 5th grade report card has an interesting note from a loving teacher “Ashish isn’t talkative, just has a lot to share”. As I grew up, the kind teacher was replaced by people who shortened the sentence, “Ashish is TALKATIVE”! As difficult as it maybe for you to believe, any child who is labelled this way, feels really guilty about such an atribute. I was no exception, I rued the fact that I loved to talk & how I wished I could be the much appreciated “Quiet” one. Now an honest admission, This stigma of being “Talkative” is something that I still lug.. But a few years back, an aspect of it lit me up. As I was doing the Landmark forum, I met a person who was much senior in the programme & much more talkative.. I walked upto him & whispered, “Dhiren,I am very talkative, want to change it..” He looked at me with a smile and said” What’s there to change Ashish… I hear you talk interesting & passionate, that’s what the world needs” So ,I have nurtured that bit.. Infact I now encourage people to talk interesting, so a larger set can be engaged in their narration. Let’s keep creating a passionate connect with the listener.
