Hiking 10k with not so little 25lbs Maverick snuggled up sleeping on my back, 4 wonderful women by my side and my loyal Mosa leading the way. I truly adore hiking for a multitude of reasons. In the mist of the climb are anxieties, constant inner chatter, and fogginess. It’s an inward stuck feeling …. But with every step my heart melts into the ground and thoughts move along with it. Then there it is … that moment. Where Mother Earth seduces all the senses. Pushing forward through her scorching sun while she offers breaks of light breezes. The stillness love and wonder this mother offers is overwhelming. gratitude fills my heart and peace fills my mind. Thank you.
