Lisa Ray Instagram – I am so proud of my @sujstyle for this beautiful book that draws on her many talents: the written word, depth of knowledge, wonder, an eye for aesthetics and timeless style. Last year we were on our annual trip together @vanafoundation intending to dedicate our time to rest and rejuvenation when in reality we were agonizing over final drafts for both of our books. Suj is more of a sister to me, and has been not only a pioneer in the fashion journalism field in India, founding editor of @bazaarindia and a stylist before there was such a concept- but also my inspiration to finally get away from the lens and down to writing. I’ve spent hours with her, watching her meet deadlines and marvelled at her easy turn of phrase. I’m thrilled we are both growing into ‘authorship’ at the same time. The symmetry is so apt.
