Lisa Ray Instagram – Repost from @messycooking_alwaysvegan using @RepostRegramApp – @lisaraniray ‘s memoir #closetothebone is such a refreshingly vulnerable and honest read. Still in the middle of it, but the little glimpses she offers into her ititerient childhood, her search for Identity that crosses Toronto and Calcutta resonate with my life in so many ways. It’s also a very smartly observed book, filled with insight ,both macro and micro of the times she was and is living in. Don’t miss this just because you think it’s another celebrity memoir, there is a strong voice here, brave and full of self awareness. Can’t wait to finish it. #closetothebone @harpercollinsin
