Why do you find your peace of mind in yoga?
Why do you feel relaxed after doing a yoga class?
Asanas is not exercise…. Yoga is an age old science which has mastered the technique of breathing. If we look closely in to asanas, we are moving in and out with deep inhalations and exhalations, letting Prana flow into each and every cell of yours. Performing every asana is in itself meditating through movement. Yoga isn’t a set of physiotherapy exercises, although it can provide the similar benefits and more; but it is an art of performing these exercises(for lack of better words) in a mindful way. It is crucial to have a little knowledge about this age old wisdom our ancients have left behind for us, in order to reap its full benefits. Yoga Asana is an interconnecting mechanism of energy flow designed specifically to target trapped energy and blockages in specific body parts. There is so much more beauty yet to be explored by people who do it mindlessly, than mindfully😇
