Bobby Cannavale Instagram – Tonight, @theirishmanfilm has its world premiere at @thenyff I still have to pinch myself that I’ve ever even MET @martinscorsese_ much less had the great fortune to work with him a few times now. As a kid growing up in the 70’s and 80’s who dreamed of being an actor, there wasn’t another director out there who’s vhs tapes you wanted to get your hands on more than Mr. Scorsese’s. Taxi Driver, Mean Streets, Raging Bull, King Of Comedy and all the rest. I took my young life in my hands every time I slipped those tapes into the vcr late at night, and those machines were LOUD. Nearly 40 years later i get to sit in the audience at Alice Tully Hall and watch myself sharing scenes with Robert Deniro, Joe Pesci, Harvey Keitel and Al Pacino, directed by The Master. Still can’t believe it. The 2nd pic here is the only pic I’ve asked Marty for. I’m not comfortable asking for pictures, never wanna intrude. Nevertheless, I hadda ask. This is while we were shooting Vinyl. Don’t I look super comfortable?? The last pic taken by the great @nikotavernise during the shooting of Vinyl.
