Thomas Ridgewell Instagram – Being raised a Jehovah’s Witness I never celebrated Halloween but out of all the major holidays that one made the most sense to boycott because it didn’t exactly seem “god honouring”. However, now that I have my own house I absolutely LOVE throwing up decorations and greeting all the kids at the door. I never realised just how many children actually took part in trick-or-treating in England but we easily got well over 100 visitors. That said, I have NO idea what you’re supposed to say when you open the door so I end up saying some weird shit like “greetings, children!” in a deep booming voice.
