Donisha Rita Claire Prendergast Instagram – We preserve culture when we remember and honour the ones who paved the way for us. The gentle ones, the rebellious ones, the ones who use Love defiantly, the Divine ones that manifest as Human. Today is a RasTafari Holyday, the Earthday of H.I.M Emperor Haile Selassie I. We honour this Spirit that has travelled across boundaries of time, space and ignorance to remind us that “Education without character is a tragedy…We must become larger in outlook. We must become something for which we have never been. Something for which our education and environment have ill-prepared us… Until the colour of a man’s skin is of no more significance than the colour of his eyes, there will be war…” The world needs us to be greater at whatever we are, wherever we are, for the greater good of the world and those that are, and are to come. She was a fire stick to say the least, one of the only surviving Howellites from the early days of the genesis of the RasTafari movement.
