Home Actress Lisa Ray Instagram Photos and Posts – March 2020 Part 1 Lisa Ray Instagram - 🙏🏼 Social responsibility is reviving. Compassion for the other is reviving. Humanism is getting a shock of oxygen. Let’s each do our bit. If you ever doubted we are interwoven like so many threads in a great quilt, living through #Covid-19 will hopefully reset your notions. I’m trying my best to practise non judgmental compassion. Towards those who are in denial. Not taking it seriously, thinking only of themselves and not the vulnerable who can easily get infected by careless actions. I see fear in them. An ache for guidance. Confusion. Our global culture hasn’t done a stellar job of guiding us towards universal human values. Maybe this big reset is just what the doctor ordered. I say this with deep empathy for lost lives, and the health warriors on the frontline. Can we all pull together? #inthistogether #cleanhands #openheart

Lisa Ray Instagram – The Art of Disappearing

When they say Don’t I know you?
say no.

When they invite you to the party
remember what parties are like
before answering.
Someone is telling you in a loud voice
they once wrote a poem.
Greasy sausage balls on a paper plate.
Then reply.

If they say We should get together
say why?

It’s not that you don’t love them anymore.
You’re trying to remember something
too important to forget.
Trees. The monastery bell at twilight.
Tell them you have a new project.
It will never be finished.

When someone recognizes you in a grocery store
nod briefly and become a cabbage.
When someone you haven’t seen in ten years
appears at the door,
don’t start singing him all your new songs.
You will never catch up.

Walk around feeling like a leaf.
Know you could tumble any second.
Then decide what to do with your time. ~ Naomi Shihab Nye
