Our daughter, Samisha Shetty Kundra🧿, came into our lives on 15th Feb and she turns two months old today on 15th April. It’s also a very special and happy coincidence that we have become a family of 15 MILLION on @indiatiktok today, on the 15th of April😍🤩 So grateful for all the love & blessings that you have showered on my family and me over the years… humbled beyond words. I had shared a little exercise-fun with Viaan a few days ago, and I was asked for the entire workout video. Well, I don’t have the entire workout captured, but sharing what I found from my archives.
I truly believe that the family that eats, prays and works out together… stays together! Oftentimes when @rajkundra9 and I workout in the mornings, we get Viaan to join us too. We do understand that if it’s not fun for him, he’s not going to enjoy the process. So, while we roped in some abs workout for ourselves, we got him to hop, slide, and jump around. Our workout helps us build & strengthen the abdominal muscles, while it also helps improve the mind-body coordination and enhances speed & endurance capacity. Viaan, on the other hand, was just happy to be jumping around and using up some of that pent up energy. A morning well-spent, this was! I hope you all are staying home and staying fit too!

#Throwback to when we were plucking fruits from the star fruit tree in our garden barely a month ago. It’s truly a special feeling to know that what you are eating is ‘clean’ pesticide-free and grown with love. Today, I’m grateful for Mother Nature’s beautiful and bountiful ways… how she provides for us and makes sure we are taken care of. When we take care of her and even when we don’t sometimes 🙈 she’s always got our back, unconditionally. Look forward to the days when we’ll be free from the clutches of this pandemic enveloping us. The first thing about gratitude is to acknowledge it and second is remember it even in the future. Our parents have done so much for us, the love, the hard work, the sacrifices… We cannot – for a single second – forget how much they’ve done. We live in a different “YUG”, where we lead such fast-paced lives and live in the present forgetting the past… But it’s only human to err. THIS (Lockdown) is a great time to introspect and appreciate how much our parents have done for us in the past. The least we can do NOW is show them love. This TIME is priceless; I was fortunate to have my maternal grandma with me in my formative years and I feel sooo overjoyed to see my son have these moments with my mom. Thank you, Mom… for all and more… always! We are truly lucky and blessed. Only gratitude ❤️🧿❤️

Grateful to have this precious time… some ME time that we underestimate.
I’ve always wanted to take a vow of silence, for the longest time (did it 12 yrs ago), but it’s always seemed impossible to do with my life and commitments.
When we fast, we cleanse the body; but when we keep silent, we cleanse the mind. With this lockdown I’m sure our minds are on an overdrive of thoughts, with pent up feelings of fear and worry. Try and observe a ‘Karna mauna’; you can still communicate through actions or messages, but limit your actions with no words. It’s a great exercise to curb anger & negative feelings, reflect on your inner self, and make you weigh your words in the future.
They say when you practice this from time-to-time it helps master your tongue, which can kill as well as heal…
Try it, can’t be a better time… start with 2/3 hours on weekends and you will feel liberated and enlightened with the experience.

I take a few minutes off of my day, to just sit here and meditate so I can connect with nature and take in the beauty of our Mother Earth. It costs nothing, but the price we pay when we misuse it is way too high. The ability to breathe fresh air, eat clean, or have drinkable water is often taken for granted. It’s no wonder that while we are all indoors, the earth is healing 🌍
So, on the 50th Earth Day today; let’s pledge to conserve our resources, plant more trees, educate ourselves & those around us, choose a sustainable way of life, and adopt the mantra of ‘reduce-reuse-recycle’ as best as we can. It’s high time we did our bit too!

Not 1 but spotted 2 cuckoos in the garden this afternoon… such a rare sight.
