Today I am going to feature Lal Mirch in studio city. A family run Indian restaurant that is cosy, affordable, DELICIOUS and cooked by the best most generous people. I come from Leeds so I grew up with amazing Indian food all around me, so easy to get, it was my families go to meal for an evening out together or for a treat at home. We always went to Akbar’s in Bradford, my grandad was obsessed with it, for anyone who wants to wander down memory lane with me. I can’t lie, I have not really had a lot of good Indian food in Los Angeles (I’m sorry though I hear it’s worth the trip to Artesia lol) but I found this place through the @eater_la list they made and haven’t looked back since. Tonight is the season 4 finale of @betterthingsfx I always get the time wrong because I english and get the east coast west coast time mixed up and record it!
