Woke up to this big ball of fluff cuddling my face this morning. And the best part is that his fur still smelled of pine from his nighttime adventures. He’s the best. 🥰 #allhailkingsimon #kittylove #kittycuddles #stayhome #stayhealthy #staysafe
Seriously, my cat is such a majestic creature.

Mornings on the farm with Fen. 💙
Our sweet little chickadees arrived only a week ago and have already grown so much. 😭 We could barely see their tiny wings behind their baby fluff, but now they’re fully visible. The brown Speckled Sussexes’ wings have the neatest moth-like patterns. I could seriously sit and watch these gals chirp around all day. ❤️ #babychicks #organicfarming #farmfresheggs #growyourownfood

Our last dahlia tuber delivery arrives tomorrow and then all of them will officially be in the groundddd. 🎉 Most excited about them this year because between you and me- dahlias are my favorite. 🤫 #flowerfarmer #organicfarming #seasonalflowers #farmerflorist #womenwhofarm
He may wear a look of utter annoyance all the time but I swear he loves me back. 🙄 #sorrytodisturbyou #allhailkingsimon
@chelseasmessyapron ‘s Oatmeal Chocolate Chip Cookie recipe has been my go-to lately. It has a perfectly perfect chewy texture, buttery flavor and packs my favorite combo of chocolate sea salt. 🤤 So, so good. I’ve been able to replace the all-purpose flour with Bob Red Mill’s 1-to-1 GF Flour without any issues. I’m also going to experiment with replacing the refined sugars with coconut sugar for a more guilt-free version next time, but this recipe is definitely worth a try as-is for any baking enthusiasts wanting to pass the time at home right now. Link to recipe is in the comments. Enjoy! 🖤 #stayhome #stayhealthy #staysafe #bakethebluesaway

Looking forward to early mornings with my sleepy bumble bee friends soon. They’re my favorite thing about early morning harvests. Cool temps in the AM provide the best conditions for harvesting flowers so the stems don’t end up drooping from the sun, but cool temps also cause bees to go into sleep mode. I’ll catch many of them still snoozing on our blooms while working and it warms my sappy heart. They’re so darn precious. 😴😭 #inclayflorals #beefriends #flowerfarm #flowerfarming #farmerflorist #supportlocal #seasonalflowers #slowflowermovement #womenwhofarm #knowyourfarmer

Sipping on this herbal tea blend has been my favorite way to end the day as of late. I created the formula for pregnancy but it can be enjoyed by non pregnant people too. Has lots of yummy herbs that are rich in iron, vitamins and minerals, tone the uterine muscles, increase the flow of breast milk, are diuretic without depleting potassium levels, support kidney function (which are working double time due to blood volume increasing up to 50% during pregnancy), are anti-inflammatory to the urinary system & have relaxing attributes to the nervous system. Here’s the recipe for my Bun in the Oven Tea Blend: Combine equal parts Dandelion leaf, Red Raspberry leaf, Lady’s Mantle, Nettles, Cornsilk, Lavender & Chamomile. Add 1 tbsp herbal tea blend to 1 cup of water, bring to a boil then simmer on low heat with lid covered for 15 minutes. (Be sure to keep the lid on while simmering to prevent medicinal properties from evaporating off.) Strain out herbs and enjoy! *Note: I’ll typically prepare 3-4 cups ahead of time and then store in the fridge for up to three days. Tea can be enjoyed cold or simply reheated to have warm. #15weekspregnant #herbalmedicine
Cheerful blooms from me to you 😘
Last summer’s hydrangea party. Not always the biggest fan of hydrangeas, but this paniculata variety makes my heart pitter pat.
It’s been a longgg while since I last picked up a crochet hook so I thought I’d start back up again with something simple. Made these little egg rattles for baby Charlotte modifying @bhooked ‘s Egg pattern (www.bhookedcrochet.com/Egg). Also makes a pretty cute project for Easter! She has a YouTube video that’s makes the pattern easy to follow if you’re interested in giving crochet a try.🐰🐣🤰🏽#crochet #babygirl #charlotteharper #nontoxictoys #25weekspregnant
Woke up to a frostyyy farm this morning. It’s such a tease having all of my seed orders arrive planning out our planting schedule for the season with frost still on the ground. I seriously can’t wait for warmer weather and to be swimming in buckets of blooms again. 😍 Was able to snag a ton of new dahlia varieties from @theflowerhat ‘s tuber sale yesterday & am so excited to be expanding our dahlia crop this year. Follow @inclayflowerco for more updates on all things flower farming. ^_^ #flowerfarmer #farmerflorist #womenwhofarm
