It was my first time living outside the US…where I adapted to a new culture and environment on my own, and where I grew. 🏙️⁣ ⁣ ⁣ My favorite corner of our flat in Millat Nagar was by the window sill, where I would stretch out with a cup of chai, just reflecting about life and observing the people in the park below. It’s where I went jogging, practiced martial arts with my trainer and spent long hours walking and talking on the phone with my parents and friends back in the US.
