Boxing superstar Floyd Mayweather sent a $88,500 check to the Fort Bend Memorial funeral home to cover the costs of all George Floyd’s funeral and additional memorial services in Houston, Minnesota, Charlotte and another location to be revealed at a later date.⁠

“Floyd is just doing what he feels is right in his heart,” Mayweather’s people say.⁠

The star boxer felt it was the right thing to do, especially after he found out that Anzel Jennings, the CEO of his TMT music label, grew up with George Floyd.⁠
