Danneel Ackles Instagram – Like many of you I have been actively researching ways to implement real change in my life and become more involved in organizations in my community that are helping to bring about economic and racial equality for people of color. One way we can all start helping today is by supporting black and minority owned businesses. Last night, before going to bed, I did a simple experiment. I checked the business origins of the first 10 products I came across. Fragrance,clothing, the throw on my bed,a book… Guess what? They were all made by white owned companies. I am willing to bet if I had continued this with 10 more, the results would have been the same. With that in mind, I am going to commit to buying and promoting more products by black and minority owned companies on my platform. If you have been a follower of mine for awhile, you know that my Instagram is not for sale. The products I choose to feature will be researched and paid for by me, no freebies or paid promos here. I encourage others to research and seek out products made by people of color, let’s share and amplify those voices. #promoteblackbusiness #amplifymelanatedvoices
