I guess I should say Happy Fathers Day to my influences who keep me grounded. So, for many years I would just send my Grandfather a gift but just hoped that he understood my being me is no offense to him. We need police reform & rehabilitation in our individual states. Most of the higher ranking officers have been unconsciously taught to be indirect racist in their training by calling anyone who questions their authority, thugs (aggressive black or Hispanic men or women) or labeled priority threat (anyone who doesn’t comply immediately) When I worked at Club Ripples, we used to have a relationship with the Long Beach Police Department, taking them pizzas once a month and doing Beach cleaning (servicing the community) They have always been people who chose the hardest job in the world to me. Maybe when them checks stop rolling into their accounts, then they can & will be reminded that they are human JUST LIKE US!
