Lisa Ray Instagram – @kurteesindia has recently started a new program, #IUsedToBeAKurta. They have upcycled their unsold stock of Kurtas and Churidars into masks to be donated to those most vulnerable and affected during this pandemic. The masks, which are made from organic cotton jersey, are breathable and reusable. To date, they have donated 1100 masks to various NGO’s throughout India who are supporting those most in need. In the event you are able to support, you can now purchase 10, 25, 50 or 100 masks, which they will donate on your behalf to @goonj. These masks are not for profit and are being sold at cost.
