Home Actress Lisa Ray Instagram Photos and Posts – June 2020 Part 2 Lisa Ray Instagram - Repost from @feminaindia using @RepostRegramApp - #FeminaTalkies: "Each experience has been unique. But by far, my breakthrough moment was sharing my cancer diagnosis. I was in denial, trying to go through my life as though blood cancer was a cough or cold that would eventually pass. I was encouraged, at that time, by my agents and managers to keep my cancer a secret. I continued doing my work like nothing was wrong. It led to a lot of questions in my head, such as: Why am I hiding this? What have I done wrong? Why is talking about this disease considered a taboo?" - @lisaraniray (2019) πŸ“·: Mourya Dandu . . . #LisaRay #actors #artist #celeb #celebrity #celebrities #celebstyle #bollywood #films #movies #people #magazine #show #feminaindia

Lisa Ray Instagram – Updated timing
Repost @totallyoutnow SERENDIPITY WITH Lisa Ray – A session that I have been really looking forward to. The conversations we have are so engaging, full of surprises, insights …with so much to share and learn from.
Cross-cultural phenomenon, Lisa is an internationally acclaimed performer, author, columnist, television personality and public speaker with a reputation for taking on challenging issue-oriented films.
Raised in Canada by an Indian father and Polish mother, Ray was discovered while on vacation in India at the age of 16 and went on to become not only one of the most successful and memorable cover models in India but also an acclaimed, award-winning actress who starred in Canada’s Oscar nominated film, #Water, amongst other prestigious credits like β€˜The World Unseen’, β€˜Bollywood/Hollywood’ and β€˜Kasoor’ in hindi cinema.
After Ray was diagnosed with Multiple Myeloma in mid 2009 her forthright, courageous and humorous approach to navigating her experiences with this incurable blood cancer which she chronicled in her blog, β€˜The Yellow Diaries’ have earned her international respect.
Her best selling writing debut, Close to the Bone, a frank and intimate memoir exploring the geography of healing, has been highly acclaimed.

Lisa Ray Instagram – What a lovely post to wake up to by @zebatalk a young author I much admire. I’m halfway through her debut book #MyPastisaForeignCountry and taken with the clarity and force of her story telling. There’s a tendency, perhaps, to perceive one author complimenting another as a sort of polite, diplomatic ritual- the echo chamber of utterances: this is not that. Frankly I only ever post honest impressions of books and authors that have moved me, shaken me, enthralled me or even polarised me. Honest engagement with words is my lifeline.
Repost from @zebatalk using @RepostRegramApp – Went for a long walk around Kensington with @lisaraniray’s CLOSE TO THE BONE. I’m amazed by the matter of fact clarity and strength in Lisa’s retelling. Her sense of adventure is contagious and her perspective oh so sharp. My heart caught in my throat as events of chapter 4 unfolded. I’m looking forward to the week ahead because it will be filled with Lisa’s voice and thoughts.
