Tay Ping Hui Instagram – Just learnt that my new drama “Heroes” got the number one viewership spot in China and that really made my day.
It was a lengthy and difficult journey to be honest. Living out of a suitcase in a hotel room for months, deprived of home, family, friends, and almost everything that you are familiar and comfortable with. You are expected to deliver every time the camera is rolling, be it dialogues in the traditional format, or martial art skills that you do not possess, yet having to learn and memorize the moves on the spot, and look good doing it.
While it’s great getting awesome reviews for my performance, I know the work is never really done. The more I learn, the more I realize how little I know.
得知自己有份参与的《大侠霍元甲》得获中国全国收视冠军，真的是开心不已。
回想起来，那段日子还真不容易。一个人，一个行李，一个酒店房，就这样几个月。没有家里的舒适，没有家人朋友的陪伴，没有任何自己熟悉的东西。
每次开工，不但得把台词说得溜，也必须在武术动作上现学现卖，表现出人物沙狼的霸气与他的武艺高强。对我这个毫无武术根基的人来说，可真是难上加难。
虽然获得观众好评，但我自知还需要进步的地方太多了。眼前道路漫长无尽，但我愿意一步一步迈向成功。
